What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?

“Today let’s focus on sincerity. Unless you mean what you say, it has no power. The Lord watches the heart, so He knows whether you are sincere in what you say. Will you follow through in what you tell others, and even more importantly, what you say here in this journal to God? There is a need for transparency in each of our lives. You need to be a model of that to others. Newer devotees look up to long-time disciples like you. What you do—not what you say—is what others will mimic. There is nowhere to hide when who you are speaks so clearly through your actions. If you can’t back up what you teach with actions that demonstrate those teachings, then no one will take what you teach seriously.  We teach most through what we are. We are our actions much more than our speech. Don’t merely talk a good game—do it. Like Star War’s Yoda said, ‘Try not. Do!’ “
