Do you really think God will allow Herself to be captured without much effort? Is it something every Tom, Dick and Harry seems to succeed at? No, God is a bit shy, and only comes forward when She’s completely sure that the searcher has utmost sincerity. Only the righteous can entice Her to throw open Her hiding place and show Herself in all Her glory. She doesn’t play favorites, except in that She expects Her suiters to have sincere motives and pure hearts. Does She expect perfection? No. But intensity of devotion and love? Absolutely!”
