Dear Divine Ma,
What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?
“It’s about fickleness.”
Am I fickle in my loyalty to Swamiji and Master?
“Well, you so seldom look into their eyes. You so seldom pray to either of them. Your thoughts and actions in sadhana are always aimed over their heads, if you will. You seem to think you should wait for a formless Light, or He who responds to the call of ‘Lord,’ rather than Master. What’s wrong with seeking an audience with the prince who is on an estate representing the king? Are you thinking that to bow before the crown prince, that you are somehow being disloyal to the King himself? Don’t you know they are one and the same? What differentiates Master from the Lord of the Universe? It’s only whether he rules over one province or the whole universe. But both draw their power from the very same Source. Theirs’ is the power of the universe. There is no other power than that One. Do not be haughty about it, nor afraid. It’s the power of Love!”
Your notes from Divine Mother are very helpful to keep that connection with God and Gurus healthy and more thriving
Hey Viraj, my namesake. Good to hear from you. These blogs have been helpful for me, too, to help my connection to God and Guru. But now in the next chapter of my life, it’s time to let sadhana and practicing the presence do what transforming they can accomplish. I need to apply what Divine Mother has been telling me. That’s the new challenge. Don’t be content with just writing, don’t even just listen, but instead be sure I’m DOING what Grace is guiding me to do. It’s a new emphasis on which I need to focus. Inner growth won’t happen unless I put God and Guru’s advice to work in the details of my life. It has become too easy to merely listen and write down what I heard. Now, the hard work itself begins!
