Dear Divine Ma,

What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?

“Today let’s talk about won’t power. No, you have plenty of will power. When you’ve decided it’s time to get something done, you are great at putting your head down and pushing yourself and anything else that might be in your way until you accomplish the desired goal. That quality you have mastered. No, today the topic is won’t power. This is about the times when you sense you shouldn’t do something, but you really want to. The situation when you would be embarrassed if anyone else found out that you were doing something, but you decided to do it anyway. Those are the times you are lacking in won’t power. We would like to help you buck up that quality in your life. Every one of those situations take you farther and farther from God’s will. There is no situation when you think “I shouldn’t!” that God’s will is being served by moving ahead. The thought of ‘I shouldn’t’—at least once someone like you is no longer afraid of mere public opinion—is a very good guide to when your won’t power could flawlessly remind you where God’s will lays. We know you intend to be following God’s will. So, stop being blind to ‘I shouldn’t.’”
