Dear Divine Ma,
What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?
“It’s time to learn to take your sadhana seriously. If no one else feels to use the group meditation spaces, then you’re just going to have to get your own personal sadhana in order. That’s one more place where you can’t depend on others to keep you going and fulfilled. You too often wait for others to befriend you when the main way you’ve always succeeded at mixing with others was through shared seva. It’s karma yoga that has always been your claim to fame. It’s been too long since your stint at Ananda Valley Farm to keep claiming that you’ve “given at the office”. How else do you expect to connect with people within the Ananda world if you don’t show up for shared work opportunities? Sure, COVID has made that harder and less frequent. But even when it was available, lately you choose to do little to join or encourage it. We know that your personality type feels it needs satsang with others to be happy and content. But if you reached out deeper in sadhana you wouldn’t have such a burning need for other people to fill your needs. Besides, who but God can truly fill your heart with the joy you crave?”
