What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?
I’m never completely sure who it is that I’m following. What I mean is, what is that Source of knowledge, or dharma—the awareness of right and wrong, of true spiritual living? I’m not sure what the name or gender of that Source is. But the Source exists … if I’ll only listen for it, listen to it. And even more crucial than listening to it, is doing what it says. That Still Small Voice Within is ever-present. 40 years into my path, it’s not that hard to hear it anymore. The much harder part is doing what She says. I tend to like to refer to that Source as She. But whenever I ask what Her name is, the best answer She gives is, “They are working for the Nameless One.” Anyway, it’s not the Who that’s important—what’s important is “what am I willing to do about it!”
