What do You want me to learn today?
It so important to be open to Your guidance, and yet I so seldom take, and use, Your guidance after You have given it to me. Why is that?
“Yes, why? I too have often wondered—grieved, really—that you seemed almost embarrassed to have gotten this advice from Me. Why?”
Because I don’t feel worthy to have been ‘talking to God.’ I am no saint.
“True, but you’re a saint-in-the-making.”
It sure is a very slow process.
“But, of course! Did you expect that ‘saints could be turned out every semester like a batch of accountants?’* It’s not that simple. Saints can—do–take centuries in the making. So much needs to be given up; so much needs to be claimed. Becoming a saint is no easy task. You have to have given all of yourself, holding nothing back. It all must go.”
