There is too much violence in this world. Too much antagonism. Too much hatred of others. How do we expect to find peace in such a world. All the headlines across the nation about anti-trans and anti-critical race theory suggest that this is still very, very far from satya yuga. Swamiji predicted just such a time, but I never paid it much attention before. Now I am convicted of the truth of this pushback. We all thought that Obama’s election and the legalization of gay marriage was the long-hoped-for turning point away from kali yuga. It appears that the report of Kali’s demise was premature. There is still a long haul ahead for the transformation of the planet’s consciousness. All we can do is to begin by transforming our OWN consciousness.
