What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?

“Today it’s about respect. No matter what a person says, or thinks, or believes, it behooves you to take each of God’s children seriously. Remember the answer our dear Swamiji received when he complained a bit to God about the lawyers who were harassing him during the lawsuit years: ‘But they are all my children.’ Humans too often think, ‘Oh, that one is smarter, or that one is wise, or this other one is not. But to God, they are all children of His light. He does not judge them, but only loves them as His own. Who are we to judge anyway? We aren’t God. He is God. ‘Leave all judgment to Him.’ If He can love all his children, can’t you do the same? He shows us the way. Do you have the courage, the fortitude, to follow in His footsteps? Sure, you’re not God, but as loyal servants we aspire to live in God’s ways. As Jesus put it, He ‘is the way, the truth, and the light!’”
