Dear Divine Ma,
What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?
Why are you still resisting overcoming your worst habits? It’s like you don’t care. You seem to think its unimportant that you have so many blocks to doing God’s will. Doesn’t it matter to you? It’s so distracting that your concentration is so divided. It’s like you are incapable of having your attention focused single-pointedly in one direction. You are in so many directions at once. No wonder it’s so difficult for you to tune into the Divine. She needs you to give your entire love and attention unto Her. Otherwise, She will wait.
Thank you
Dearest Sister-in-God, You are most welcome. And because I have felt your bhav over SO many years now, I sense you are already close to fulfilling Ma’s advice that She gave all of us in this. And I know your humility is bound to say in response, “No, there is always further to go in this.” And of course you would be right. Good reminder for all of us, from one who truly lives this way.
Perfect reminder and inspiration for me today.
That you for sharing your lessons which are, of course, universal so I always take something meaningful away from them.
Dearest Friend, You are so right that much of the guidance we all get is universally rooted! Our attention IS “in so many directions at once. No wonder it’s so difficult for [us] to tune into the Divine.” Isn’t it so? Darn, I do sometimes wish it were easier, even after 40 years on the path. But I guess Ma wants us to get stronger by NOT making it easy for us. To “succeed” at this path we have chosen is every bit as challenging as the most difficult it ever got when we were high-performing athletes in our youth! To paraphrase something our Swamiji often said, “This path is NOT for sissies!”
