What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?
The lesson for today, when we were meditating with Jyotish and Devi at the Sevaka Retreat, is to stay non-attached to who knows you, who admires you, who knows what ways you have been serving Ananda’s mission away from Ananda Village for the past 25 years! Wow, has It really been 25 years? You trained at the Village headquarters for 15 years, but now you have dwarfed that number with the length of your service away from the headquarters. The Village is the best training. It helps you imbibe the right attitude with your very soul. Yet until Online with Ananda & the Virtual Community came about, it was challenging to get enough slots from which you could spread the teachings beyond Ananda Village or serve others elsewhere. That’s why you went out to Meditation Groups in California, then to bookstores for Crystal Clarity, then being available for those who traveled to you at The Expanding Light. But then it was time to go even further out. To Palo Alto, then Rhode Island, Sacramento, then Delhi and Pune, the farm in Half Moon Bay, then Mumbai and even Chandigarh and Kolkata. See, you’ve merely been going further and further afield to spread Master and Swamiji’s Joy and Light!
