What do You want me to learn today?

“With this hour you have to meditate, will you use the time well, or not? You can while away the opportunity, or you can put your back into it and let your spine do what its capable of doing—taking you all the way to God. Why do you resist making the effort when others aren’t around? Why do you only put out effort for God when others are there to see you? Who are you trying to impress anyway? There is only One who is truly watching, and He knows what your heart say’s whether anyone’s there or not. What others see doesn’t matter. What God sees is everything. You SAY that you are out to find God. And yet when its only God watching, you too often fail completely. Seems like you’ve got the rules of the game backwards. It’s time to show the only participant that really matters that you take the game seriously. What’s the point of sadhana, if when it really counts, you’re a no-show?”
