“Today the need is open heartedness. Until your heart opens to the guru and the saints, your sadhana will remain lackluster. You want the love of God. And yet your own love for the people who are trying to pray on your behalf is lukewarm. The energy you put out in sadhana is tepid. You don’t put your heart into your prayers. You seem to want the cold mathematics of THIS many kriyas should equal THAT much ecstasy in return. But remember, even the spiritual warrior, Dhyana, always reminds you that kriya plus devotion works like mathematics. Without devotion, kriya does not work by itself. Without giving love, how can you expect to get love in return?”
