It’s all about integrity. Are you doing what God wants you to do? God’s will, as Swami answered to Asha, is not difficult to discern. It’s the following through on God’s will that is difficult. We often don’t really WANT to do what God wills for us. It isn’t convenient. It requires self-control, or stick-to-it-ive-ness that requires that we put out more energy than we prefer to do. Tapasya. All these things make doing God’s will much harder than knowing God’s will. To know God’s will merely means we have to listen to that still small voice within. But DOING it? Now therein lies the rub!
