Dear Divine Ma,
What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?
“Today it would be good for you to work on your humility. No, it’s not a sense of abject self-abnegation. Your dear Swamiji is correct when he said it’s all about merely accepting what is true about yourself. Just realizing that you are not the center of the universe, but merely a part of a vast and magnificent whole. That what you do in the world is not of that much consequence, rather it’s what you become in your consciousness. The condition of your consciousness is everything. That’s what is true in this world. Everything else is but foam, of no true substance. It doesn’t matter what you think, nor what others think of you. The only thing that matters is, ‘Do you love God enough? And, do you know how much She loves you?”
Thank you for this helpful reminder!
Dear Jayanti, SO sorry that I lost track of these comments people make about our blog. I just thought no one was responding, when today I found all these comments from six months ago. Me and technology don’t always have the best of relationship. Anyway, delightful to see that you have been tuning in to the messages that have been coming through in my meditation journal. I don’t really know the name of the Source of these little messages. All I know is that It’s wiser than I am. So I am happy to be It’s scribe. And nothing It tells me contradicts anything that Master and Swami have been teaching us. So, tentatively, I have learned to trust what is said. Master always emphasized “it’s never been about what we do for a living, but about what we become through it in our own consciousness.” I guess that even applies to those of us that are firmly into our retirement activities. Still have to keep aware of what’s happening to our consciousness! Joy to you!
