Dear Divine Ma,
What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?

“Today it’s about devotion again. That chant you just played truly had the ability to take you half-way to God. It doesn’t matter how many times you chant a song. There can never be too many, as long as you use it as a bridge to get to the Divine. ‘Lord, When in Darkness’ just now became a bridge, a short-cut, for you to travel that ever-shorter distance between you and God. He was near, wasn’t He? He is always that near, if you’ll ‘but think Him near.’ He never is far away. You are. As Swamiji wrote in one of his songs, ‘He awaits but your love.’ Be open to that love. Let Him love you like He can. His love is ever-present. It is yours that too often is lacking. He wants you to find Him. Every day, if possible. There’s nothing He would like better than to be found daily in this great game of hide and seek. Enjoy the journey. And laugh with joy each time you win!”
