Christmas has been a big energy this year. Helping the devotees tune into Christ and his story took big swaths of the ashram’s energy, by many of the residents. They all grew from putting out that kind of energy and seva. We all grew. Finding out how much we could succeed by putting out more juice than we thought we could.
“And where do you think that ‘juice,’ as you put it, comes from? It’s all part of God. Your supply of energy is limited, mostly by your own thoughts and attitudes. But His reservoir is limitless. You have nothing to worry about if you keep faith with Him. Lose faith in Him, and then you have only your own puny ego on your side. That alone will never take you very far. You know that by your own power, you can do little. So many cross currents of energy cancelling each other out. But attuned to God’s power, then it’s true that there is nothing that you, with Him, can’t accomplish.”
