Dear Divine Ma,
What Do You Want Me to Learn Today?
Today, I once again experimented with beginning my sadhana with Second Kriya. And once again, with two and a half times (up down, up down, up), I was able to tune into not only the sound of water rushing back to the ocean and the ocean from a distance, but even at least hints of the other five chakra sounds. It’s thrilling to be able to begin hearing them. And the 5th and 6th chakra sounds were so clear, even hearable at the same time, like Swami always said they’d be. Mother, is there more to the chakra sounds than I’ve gotten?
“Yes, my dear one, the chakras can fill your being with bliss, if you’ll let them. Now that you know without any doubt that they actually do exist, wait to see how much they can convince every cell in your body that God exists, and is everything the Great Ones ever said they were. You have only scraped the surface of experiencing the proof of the Divine Presence. You talk about God, but do you yet feel God in His fullness, in every moment of your life, in every person, every situation? You still think like a materialist, thinking the world and its material objects are the reality. Expect to be surprised!”
What a beautiful blog, good work, dear brother Biraj. Unfortunately, I still can’t feel God every moment of the day and in every action. I know He exists and loves me, because He has given me concrete proof of this time and again, with what we “materialists” call miracles, but I’m still working on feeling Him constantly. Thank you for these insights into wisdom and reflection. Jai Ma
Hi, dear friend, So many of us are still waiting to “feel God in His fullness, in every moment of our life, in every person, every situation?” I sometimes get flashes of this awareness, but I, too, am still way too attached to the material world to be able to sense His tangible presence very often. We devotees are seeking Him to be our only reality, but He’s so illusive most of the time, isn’t He? These days I’m deeply listening more every month. And the same question I’ve used for the past 40 years is getting used not just once a day, but now I’m experimenting with asking it a dozen or more times each day. “Divine Mother, What do You want me to learn today?” And this seems to help me to hear Her more often. She never ignores me when I remember to ask Her. It’s simply a matter of using more of my moments to remember…Jai Ma indeed!
Thank you, dear friend, for your reply and valuable suggestion. I’ll try this too. Next week, I’ll be waiting for you in our new home so that Lahari can invite us for a new retreat in our meditation room. Our Divine Wives will arrange a date and time that’s best for everyone. In Joy
Hey there, Ramanand, I hope you are trying to ask that question from time to time… Just right this very minute I got a call from my wife, who is looking to free our car from you and your wife’s driveway. Cute! This might be one of those times especially to ask Divine Mother what She would like us to learn today, right? I must admit that I don’t always get an answer to that question. But then again, I’m quite sure that an answer is always waiting for me, if only I could concentrate enough to discern Her advice. She is always there. It is me who is sometimes absent, at least my mind is elsewhere. If only we could always tune in to what She is ready to tell us. That will be the day!
