What do You want me to learn today?
“It’s time to open your heart to all souls, and not just the ones you like, or those who like you. It’s not enough to love those who love us—‘even the publicans do the same,’ Jesus cautioned. That’s too easy. Spiritual growth happens when we can love even those who make it hard to love them. That was the way of a Jesus, or a Buddha, or a Teresa, or a Francis. What do you want to be like, more like a publican or more like a Francis?”
A fool for God, that’s my aim. Let others act cool. For me, it’s “God alone!”
